This will help students understand Youtube is to be used as a learning platform while they are at school.

use the aup
-
The policy clearly states that the teacher decides how students use their own devices in the lessons. You can decide not to use them if it is the case, and decide how you want students to use their devices.
-
This is particularly important in the upper school.
-
It is recommended to share clear guidelines in your lessons as to how you expect students to use their computers, even if they are their own.
-
Take some time to read the school's Acceptable Use Policy, it might be helpful in your everyday practice.
-
Read the policies here.
TIP#4
understand media literacy
-
Fake news, false advertising, and cyberbullying are some of the challenges everyone using digital platforms faces today. We should not assume our students know this.
-
It is important teachers today understand how the tech companies work and how users actually "pay" for free services. We need to guide our students on this regard.
-
It is recommended to take this into consideration and know how students use technology in their daily lives. This can help you guide them better from your subject area and your teaching.
